Jupiter Elementary School "Saving Makes Sense Club"final_dollar_art_color

KSC Federal Credit Union and Jupiter Elementary School in Palm Bay have partnered to establish the "Saving Makes Sense Club"  at Jupiter Elementary.  A KSCFCU branch is now located inside the school to enhance the school's math curriculum and to help spread financial literacy throughout the school.   5th grade students belonging to the school's Money Skills For Life Club volunteer every Wednesday of the month to assist students with making deposits into their savings accounts.  All students, teachers, staff and parents are invited to open an account.

If your child attends Jupiter Elementary School, they may open a savings account with just a $5 membership fee.  A $25 minimum deposit is required within six months to keep the account open and active.  The branch only accepts deposits (with the exception of special events.)  Withdrawals can be made at  any of our full-service branches.  Jupiter Elementary students receive incentives for making regular deposits and achieving money saving goals.

Visit the school branch between the commons area and the school cafeteria to open your child's account or to make a deposit into your child's savings account.  Membership forms are available at the school branch and at any regular KSCFCU branch.

The school branch is open the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7:30 am to 8:00 am, and the 4th Wednesday of the month from 2:20 pm to 3:00 pm.  If there is a school delay or school closing, the school branch will not be open.

It's never too early to start teaching children about money management.
