"Your Session Has Timed Out" Error Message

If you experience this error message when attempting to logon to PCU, it has come to our attention that there has been a Microsoft update that turns on Content Advisor in Internet Explorer that appears to be causing this issue.

The quick fix is to disable Content Advisor in Internet Explorer.

  1. In IE, go to the menu bar and select TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS then select the CONTENT tab.

  2. Under CONTENT ADVISOR click the DISABLE button. Then click OK at the bottom.

If you need and use Content Advisor to protect against going to bad websites, you need to add our site to the "Approved Sites" within Content Advisor.

  1. In IE, go to the menu bar and select TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS then select the CONTENT tab.

  2. Under CONTENT ADVISOR click the SETTINGS button (if the SETTINGS button is grayed out then they don't have CA enabled)

  3. In SETTINGS click the APPROVED SITES tab. In the empty box under ALLOW THIS WEB SITE: type in www.pcu.kscfcu.org and click the ALWAYS button. Click OK at the bottom. Click OK at the next screen and you're done.
